THE REVELATION OF JESUS
The knowledge of the word of God keeps one strong and young in spirit, soul and body. The revelation of Christ that comes to you is the wisdom of God made clear to you in order to add knowledge and understanding unto you. In Hebrews 4:12, the bible reveals that the word of God is a living thing.
Hebrews 4:12
“For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Christ becomes clearer to you as the word of God becomes clearer and gains solid root within you, root so strong enough to help you remain as firm as a tree that bears fruit.
That is why the righteous is compared to a palm tree that will flourish, that will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; which is planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green.
As Christ is revealed to you daily, you become empowered more and more with the knowledge of the Son God. You will become mature and grow deeper and deeper in your faith in him; and you can easily trust him for greater things to be accomplished through your hands. You will be practically measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ; you will be attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
That means the Lord can use you greatly in your old age. His word can come in contact with your life and you will be renewed in strength like a youth. Since his word penetrate to the dividing line of the soul and spirit of a man, and the joints and marrow of a man, it means that his word can quicken your spirit, your soul and also impact your physical body with vitalizing nutrients to make it become sound and viable for the fulfillment of his divine purpose in your life that has not yet been completed in you.
